im def a little bent out of shape but just posted this thread to show just how bad it has been. Of course its just a game and there really is no effect to us posters personally.. But we are fans

I still think this state is racist and have thought so since the 70's. My reasons for feeling that way go well beyond the game of basketball. They go all the way back to me as a 5yo kid at Eugene Fields elementary in OKC.

Not sure how your example compares in the least. Sounds like you're just trying to discredit me for saying Okies are racist - and I will still claim Okies are racist if that is what tickles your fancy. Doesnt have crap to do with this discussion though.

People complaining about threads on this board boggle my mind.

The point of this message board is to discuss the OU men's basketball team. If you want news, I'm sure there are plenty of twitter accounts you can follow that will get you news about the team and recruiting and filter out the opinions of fans.

To put a positive spin on this thread, I think we could win 2 of our 3 remaining games. I'm writing off the Monday night game in Lawrence..... just don't want an embarrassment. We're playing teams close and losing in the last few minutes. I think the team is improving even if doesn't show in the win-loss column. We host K-State on Saturday and then TCU the following Saturday on senior night. Both of those games are very winnable.

Couldnt agree more. See lots of spurts where we look excellent. I really enjoy watching this group play ball. It will be amazing when someone throws some reins around it and they develop more consistency.

So are all Okies racist? Or just the white ones? That's the question I always wanna ask when somebody throws out an ignorant, blanket statement like that. Some of the most racist people I've ever met aren't white!!!!

Just got back home and logged in to find a thread about racism on a basketball board. There is definitely something wrong with that picture.

Come on, guys! You're better than that...maybe not some of the posters who come here, but the group involved in this discussion are certainly above that level.
