They're good, but they do not have a #1 seed resume. Their RPI is worse than OU's and their SOS is terrible (19 of their wins were vs. RPI 100+). Their best win was vs. Cinci.
Does L'ville pass they "eye test"? Sure. But if the committee is truly objective and rewards teams for their "body of work" and uses objective metrics like those cited above, Louisville should be closer to a 4 seed than 1.
It would be a travesty if WSU doesn't get a number 1 seed. They made the final four last year and went undefeated with basically the same team. That is a No. 1 seed resume.
