Mark Turgeon Gets Big Win

Maryland's 83-81 win over the second-ranked Blue Devils on Saturday night quieted Turgeon's critics.

"It has been a hard week on my family, hard on my son last week. He had to leave the stands because the fans were so hard on his dad," Turgeon told the Associated Press.

That was in reaction to Maryland losing at home to third place Virginia to the coach who made the often fatal mistake of replacing a legend, Gary Williams.

I watched the game. The officials did everything they could in the final minutes to give Duke an assist...on Maryland's home court, of all things.

And, people wonder why the Dukies are one of the most hated schools in America? :facepalm
