I usually take away virtually zero from these types of videos, but it is obvious that Amath M'Baye is going to be a great addition to the team. I am genuinely excited to see how he is used this season.

any one out there want to claim that he can't play on the wing now??

Personally unless he just completely blows up and leads us to sweet sixteen or something like that I think he is here two years. Stays and tries to improve NBA stock as a senior.

I think his issue is age related. Not saying you are not correct, but if he is "draftable" then he probably goes. I really hope you are right though.

You are right about most things you take a position on. I hope you miss this one.

I think you, at least I think it was you who made the point, hit the nail on the head a few weeks ago when pointing out his age as a primary factor. He'll be 23 by year's end and that's old for a NBA prospect If M'Baye gets real NBA interest he should go pro, which is something I believe will happen.

I think he's already on the radar for some teams as a potential prospect through a few scouts seeing him in practice last year and him backing it up Adidas Nations. If he produces on the court that will only solidify his status as a legit NBA prospect and maybe even more.

For a personal opinion on the subject. I just remember watching M'Baye at practice last year and thinking he's the same tier of athlete/player of many of the high school guys I had seen the summer before that had been labeled "potential NBA". Andre Drummond, Lebryan Nash, Isiah Austin, Nerlans Noel Julius Randle, the Harrison Twins, etc. Some guys just hit the checklist/eye test as a potential next level guy (the size, athleticism, the skillset, the motor, etc.) M'Baye passes my own amateur eye test and I'm convinced if he was a high school recruit, the "hype" around him would be off the chart. Kruger hit a massive homerun in getting him to come Oklahoma.

Looks far better than the 12/6 he averaged at Wyoming as a sophomore.
