Misery looks really good

That Pressley really destroyed the Domers. Missouri did look vulnerable once you got by their pressure but of course you have to get by the pressure.

I don't think MU pressed once in this game.

Missouri is a fascinating team to me. They clearly have the best backcourt in the league and maybe by a wide margin. My theory has been that guard oriented teams have an advantage early in the season because it takes a while for bigs to hit their groove. I also think that teams with quality depth and size are built to withstand the grind of a conference season better. You look at teams that win the big12 and they tend to be very balanced. Ratliffe is a stud. Will he be enough of a force inside to win the conference? This team has a lot of great pieces. Bowers would have been the difference maker in my mind to put them in the lead for the conference championship.

I don't think they have enough inside play to win it despite their great, experienced backcourt.

MU's weakness is definitely on the interior, but no one in the Big 12 really has a dominant inside game this year.

Mizzou's weakness will be on the bench, dressed in a suit and tie...

History would suggest you're right, but through four games this Mizzou team looks better coached than any since Norm left (Anderson's elite eight team lost the third game of the season in mind-numbing fashion to Xavier). Whether or not that continues remains to be seen, but the early results are definitely positive on Haith.

I think Ernie Nestor's a big part of that. With over a decade of head coaching experience and 40+ years in collegiate coaching overall, he's one of the most experienced assistants in the country. He's one of the things Haith lacked at Miami.

Uh, Mizzou looks REALLY good.

They just destroyed Cal by 39 points!
