Muni or Khadeem

Is Manek doing anything besides hitting 3s? Like midrange, post, and rebounding?

Muni has the higher ceiling for sure. It is going to be a great battle for the spot. Muni can do things athletically that few can at his size.

Manek is wearing down some. Hope he gets his second wind quickly.

This isn't necessarily surprising. I would bet it's as much mental as it is physical. Practices will change in length and duration and drills when games start. Weights and other extra workouts will be dialed back a bit. Plus, playing games against others is an energizer. Throw in schoolwork from small town high school to OU, and I'm sure it's a tough transition.

Someone like Trae had a much tougher schedule as a junior and senior in terms of travel, practice, games, etc. than Manek so it's probably an easier transition for him.

Manek will be fine it is just a big adjustment as a freshman going to full speed every day college practice. He still has room for his body to mature. He will be fine and the coaches absolutely love him. I've heard nothing but that he will be starting and if he continues to play well even over Doolittle.

FYI saw Trae supporting his sister in the volleyball state finals last Tuesday. A benefit of him playing at OU. I hear he is doing everything the coaches want him to do.

McNeace needs to show some improvement from the free throw line just like Lattin showed last season.
