The exodus is completely understandable and if there isn't a similar one at UT then desire to win has to be questioned.
There's no question in my mind that Huggie and the Neer fans were thoroughly pizzed at how WVU's season went last year. Rick Barnes, on the other hand, seems to give a crap about as much as the whorns do that they have a losing basketball program.

OSU fans are debating whether or not Ford should try to get him to Stillwater. They seem to think that he picked WVU over them 2 years ago so he would have some interest level and they have an open scholly. He may be a head case but it's pretty low risk for a one year rent-a-player.

wouldn't he have to sit out two years if allowed to transfer in conference
Ecdit Just looked him up, he played two years at LaSalle, Red shirted, then played last year at WVU. Not sure he could even play Division 1
He has graduated so supposedly he can transfer anywhere to play his final year, like Drew Allen did with the OU football team.
This is ridiculous. I am certainly not a Texas fan and I actually get some enjoyment out of watching UT Basketball suffer but Barnes cares.
The UT fans are about like OU fans. Most don't care very much about basketball. College basketball isn't a big deal in the State of Texas or at least Austin. I think one problem is Texas has three NBA teams and they have had all some success lately, with both the Spurs and Mavericks being very good in recent years.
Ah, didn't know he already had a degree. Can they still stop him from transferring to a Big 12 team?
