My three keys for tonight

1) Poise

Strange to say that with a senior-laden and experienced team like OU, but Allen Fieldhouse will be, literally, "rocking" with that stupid KU chant and their crowd will try to intimidate OU. I expect a few questionable calls, but the Sooners can't lose focus

2) No prolong offensive droughts

Basketball is a game of runs, but OU seems to have an arid couple of stretches in most of their games. How do you combat that? Take the ball to the basket - Buddy has done that well, but Cousins and Woodard will need to be aggressive as well. And, offensive rebound. KU is 8th in the league in rebounding, despite having a giant front line. Lattin could be an x-factor on the offensive boards

3) KU's FG percentage?

The Jayhawks lead the conference with a 51% FG percentage, while OU leads the league giving up only 37% percentage to their opponents. KU will be bigger on the front line, so ball pressure and help defense will be important. If the Sooners hold KU under 40% - OU wins. Between 40-45% it's a toss-up and over 45% - I'd think the losing streak continues

I would prefer to see the team shoot45% or above from beyond the arc and not worry about two guys being red hot.

We rushed shots against I State. If we can hit 50% of our FGs, limit TOs, play great D then we have a chance.

Probably not much of a chance to win, because the free throws advantage will be about 3-1 KU, if they do call fouls it will be non shooting ones as usual for up there. Sad to say it, but OU must find a way to play post defense, I didn't count the lay ups that Istate got, but it was way more than a normal defense should give up. Put the post player in the middle of the lane under the basket and leave his there to stop those type of shots. Please
