NBA- OU players and general (this thread only)

he was 2nd team all nba this season ... and the Lakers would 100% trade him today for the right offer .. (that offer is not out there )

I can't really fathom the type of offer they'd be willing to accept that another team would be willing to offer. Maybe if the Lakers were struggling mid-season and a contender made like 4 first rounders available. If the Lakers had a quality center, they would have been top 3 alongside OKC and Denver.

Sure, but Jaxson Hayes could’ve helped too. Reddick was set on going small. Also Williams is skilled & is better with the ball than being a lob threat. I don’t think he would’ve fit well or been near the difference they needed to beat Minnesota.

I wasn't over the moon about the trade and was hoping for Kessler instead. But to be as good as they were with a roster built around AD rather than Luka, it had me quite optimistic.

Having said that, unless Ayton is his best self, I'm not over the moon about the offseason. But if Ayton plays like he did during the Suns finals run, then LA is absolutely in the top 3.

No assets for kessler

that is not the issue .. the issue is they have to take back 50+ million dollars in salary .. and they don't want any money on the books so they can be a FA player next summer and in the summer of 27 ..
