No, you just need Burger Boy(s)/Future NBAer(s) on your roster if you want to win the championship. And isn't that the ultimate goal?

Not if you are Rick Barnes.

I'm all for Burger Boys and/or Future NBA players if they have the right attitude and character.

And look at the past champions over the past 25 years and get back to me about which of those teams lacked either a Burger Boy(s) or NBAer(s). Getting those doesn't guarantee a title but history shows you have to have them to win a championship. That isn't an opinion but a fact

I hate that Duke partially ruined college basketball with all the bogus chargers and how it has flourished in college basketball.

wow

GREAT game by ISU and Ohio State.

Cyclones hung tough. I feel bad for them.

Don't blame Duke. Blame the officials who don't do their jobs.

I will blame the program that started to do it prevalently and made it popular.

Officials are to blame because they continue to give the benefit of the doubt to the defender over the offensive player.

Well guess what? Butler's putting people into the NBA that nobody heard of coming out of high school.
Burger Boys and NBAers are not always one and the same.

BUtler only has Hayward in the NBA. Mack is currently in the D League I think.

The charge call killed Iowa St. That was a bad call.
But all Iowa St had to do was control a rebound on the free throw and that game goes OT or Iowa St wins.

They're making a big deal about whether the tOSU defender was in the restricted area or not. My issue with the call was that it looked like the offensive player was in the air before the defender had position established.

Awful call in the end of the ISU-tOSU game. Only reason they called charge is because it was Aaron Craft. There is no way you can consider that a charge in the speed of play. With that said, ISU had multiple chances to win, McGee clanks a FT, they turn it over two possessions later and then can't corral a rebound which would have given them ball in hand with no shot clock.

Good news is the restricted circle will be pushed out in the off season.

P.S. Capel is an idiot for not recruiting McGee.

Singler and Nolan Smith

Ahh, didn't realize they had both made it back into the league. Point still kinda stands on that one. You don't need a bunch of NBA stars to succeed in college.

Remember the great NBA careers Hollis Price and Quannas White had?

If you look at every champion the past 25 years, there was at least one NBA player on the roster.

No, you just need the talent to win the title.

White and Price didn't win the title. They actually ended up losing to a team with a player who played in the NBA
