I thought for sure when I heard Jones was suspended by the NCAA that it was going to be a bigger deal that this. Granted, there could be more to come to light in the future, but when you compare this to Auburn or Ohio State, it seems to be grossly unfair.

I couldn't agree more, MsProud. If the announcer's description of his violation is accurate, the NCAA should be investigated for gross misconduct in this situation. The Boz had the right idea when it comes to that organization!

Someday, hopefully while I'm still alive, we will find out who or what was really fueling the ncaa and their obvious agenda's against some schools, and their blatant protection of others.....

To coin a phrase, 'Follow the money'.

they screw over Baylor when they're up against the wall trying to get to the NCAA's (potentially costing them and the league a lot of money) but Tressels and Newton get a little slap and a lot of leeway to still meet their important obligations.

it's BS.

I agree, but at times it seems even more than money. Some dirty programs, willing to pay have been hammered, while others just as dirty were not... SMU got death, USC gets a spanking....

Maybe it's time for someone to take them to court again.
