If OU is too poor to fire someone presiding over this kind of ineptitude for this long then it really must be bad, and true. Or, the powers that be at OU are happy to be Illinois State... whatever the fans think be damned.

I watched the Youtube segment that Bob and Eddie and George did today, which I rarely do. I believe they said the current roster has $3M in NIL. If that's the case -- there are a few guys who shouldn't be getting more than about a penny. I'd love to know how much of it was wasted on guys who either don't play at all, or play like garbage (the three centers and Elvis come to mind). However it is distributed, we aren't getting close to $3M in production.

I believe this. The narrative that we don’t have nil money is just not true. It is up to each coach to request it when and as needed. Moser, and I hate to continue to beat a dead horse, has no clue what a big time athletic college bball player looks like. Also his habit of playing favorites. You said yourself that last year we had Los, Otega, Soares and Moore. His fav was JM and it pissed off the others and 2 transferred and are stars in their new teams. Again it all goes back to PM and the lousy job he’s doing.

If OU’s roster is really 3M then the NIL excuses go away. What a huge waste of money if true.

We don't have NIL money like other schools do. We have to go to the well and there's only so many times you can go to the well.

According to my sources our well is larger than everyone thinks. If not how did we get Mateer? The 5 star ol from Texas? We may not have an extra 20mil laying around but we are not at the bottom of the sec.

Agree completely. Like I said, there are a handful of guys who barely deserve scholarships, let alone NIL. If you have $3M available, you should be able to field a team significantly better than the garbage Moser is running out there.
 
1. NIL sucks at OU but still....when your first portal commit is/was Kobe Elvis, you're not utilizing what you do have. You can't say OU's primarily struggling because they're cash-strapped. There are better teams out there who spent similarly to OU or less than OU. Evaluations still matter. Chemistry still matters. Coaching, of course, still matters too.

2. Why are people - Lusk, Eddie, Trilly - mentioning Crutchfield? Must be his agent doing work or people are being really dumb. Please, kindly, stfu about OU hiring him. If Joe C buys out Moser to hire Crutchfield, we're going to have to take back the OU MBB program by force.

Drumm said on a recent podcast that if OU hired Kellen, then he would bring Hollis with him. Also said that BMD‘s would really open up their checkbooks. But of course, take everything that he says with a grain of salt.
