I don't know him personally, but he's a lifetime Aggie and now Jayhawk. He probably hates OU with the fire of a thousand suns. OU would never give him what he wants to support the program, either.

Sure ou could call him but that call wouldn’t last long. I can’t see someone like self going to a football school.

I would take will Wade or the Drake coach, but it will be a competition for both.

It’s actually an investment for the coaches. A couple hundred thousand could result in an extra $10 million guaranteed.

On the other hand, the fans/donors don’t get any monetary return.

I've heard from more than one place on the Internet that Buzz wants out of A&M. Buzz sees himself as a builder and not a sustainer. He has a bunch of seniors this year, and the timing is right for him.

He marches to the beat of his own drummer, but has won everywhere he's been: Marquette, Virginia Tech, A&M.

Buzz does not have an agent. He calls schools directly and lets them know of his availability. He negotiates his own contracts. Perhaps he's been on the phone with Joe H and Joe C?

That's a good point. A&M is paying him around $4.5M. OU's not going to pay that, especially while paying Porter's buyout over the next three years.
