(Lists OU among his top 5 but from all that I have heard is an OSU or Baylor at this time.)
#10 Jairon Henry
(Skeeter's son but I do not get a strong feeling at this time on him becoming a Sooner. He is a very versatile Point Forward)
#13 Thomas Gipson
(A short but powerful power forward. Listed OU among favorites recently and is a load underneath)

There has been so little recruiting talk on the national scene, I'm starting to doubt we will go after anyone in 2011. If we do, I'd be happy with one of the two guards in the state. Best case scenario is one guard and one post. It's odd as an OU fan to be set at pg.

Henry is much maligned for not having a constant motor. If OU had about 4 schollies, they would take a flyer on him, IMO. I think they would look at some OK kids like Josh Richardson, Ryan Spangler, and Raney if they had spots.

The connection is Byron Eaton is his step brother. They do have a good relationship, but I don't know about Byron's feelings about OSU.

Gipson is the get. He's not the talent of Nash, but at worst, he's Gary Johnson of Texas. I think he ends up closer to Morris of KU or Bookout. He's a real power player. I hope we go after him hard.

Gipson is an enforcer type, true bruiser. Although he is undetsized a guy with a mean streak on the court like him would be nice.

Byron loves OSU and Ford. He and Terrel Harris still keep in good contact with the program.

But beating Baylor on recruits lately has been no easy task.

Nash and Eaton are half brothers, not step brothers. And Byron loves OSU....he spent a lot of time on campus this spring working out with the team. Now if SS were still coaching this team, we'd have no shot at Nash. Byron's mom HATED him.
