After a tumultuous season and several potential early departures, Jeff Capel has some holes to fill at OU. He traveled to Texas -- a state in which the Sooners have had tremendous success finding talent in recent years -- for two studs. Cameron Clark (Sherman, Texas/Sherman) is a superathletic wing who is improving rapidly. He has become a solid shooter in the midrange and always has been excellent in transition. In the half court he scores mostly on slashes to the rim between defenders with a quick first step. T.J. Taylor (Denison, Texas/Denison) is a big-bodied combo guard, with great size (at 6-3). He has a left-handed, streaky shot and is very strong slashing to the basket with his big body. Taylor loves to attack the rim in transition and is able to absorb a bump and still finish or get to the free throw line. Both kids should contribute immediately. Recent addition Tyler Neal (Oklahoma City/Putnam City) is a long wing with NBA 3-point range.
