I think this was really impressive this year. The only game we looked like crap in was against TT, but still managed to come back and make it close. The only loss by more than 10 was against MSU and that was close within the final 2 minutes or so. I don't know if margin of victory/defeat is calculated into any of the rankings the committee uses, but usually a team in OU's range will just throw out a clunker but we managed not to. What I'm getting at is that its nice to know that you can usually tune into the last 5 min. of an OU game and know that they should still have a chance.

Great observation.

Not often do you see a team have a legit chance to win every single game in a season. A couple frustrating losses, but there was not one game where we never had a chance. Made for a fun season.

Pumped for Thursday already.

Good point. I figured both at KU and at ISU we would get pasted but had chances in both. Those were the only road games I thought could be pastings though.

By my estimation, OU never lost a game by more than 9. No double digit losses. That's unreal when you think about it. No other big 12 team can claim that. Really, I wonder when the last team in Big 12 didn't have a double digit loss in the regular season.

We lost to MSU by 11. It was definitely a more competitive game than that margin might suggest, but it was a double-digit loss.

We basically got handled for a few minutes in the 2nd half, and never really recovered. Tech game was pretty much a blowout. We had to rally late to make that not look like the 20 pts game it was in the 2nd half.
