Observations on B12 Tournament this year

OUr performance. I could tell we didn't want to be there on the first osu possession. First half was a complete embarassment. Very surprised we ever got it as close as we did (was as much osu going to sleep as any modicum of "pride" that we had in coming back.

OUr fan support. It seemed like there were 20 OU fans there Wednesday night. I couldn't really even discern an OU section, though I was pretty far away from the action.

Other fan support. Can't rank MU and CU because I didn't see that session. I'd rank it KU, KSU, OSU, ISU, Tech, TAM, Baylor, Texas, NU, OU. This is so KU flavored when it's in KC, the B12 should never anchor it.

Power and Light. Can't beat the proximity to the arena. Like what they did with the roof in the courtyard area and heaters everywhere. Could use a little more organic character--it's pretty much all national chains.

KC. Good attendance and local interest as always. Man the weather sucks there.

Agreed with most of your posts. I was there for Thursday and Friday. I think 8 bucks for a beer at the PnL was a bit much, but what can you do. Loved watching other teams play with heart and hustle for 40 minutes. Hopefully we can get back to that level next year.

P.S. I sold todays tickets for a nice chunk of change yesterday.
