There was a discussion on another thread about whether we need improvement in offense or defense. Here are the conference stats:

It seems pretty clear that scoring was not a problem this year but defense certainly was.
 
I have to say I love watching Notre Dame Play defense. Everyone from the guards to the post work hard to go over screens and if someone is beat the help is right there. They switch on everything at times and even if a guard is outsized she works hard to keep the other teams big from getting get set.

The coach at UClA went to watch a Uconn practice this year and it looked like it paid off I wonder if this is something Sherri has done in the past.
