@MarcusHelton: Oklahoma has offered DeMatha (Md.)/DC Blue Devils 2016 G Markelle Fultz. #DMVhoops @MarkelleF
FYI
Is he considering us? Looks like a lot of big offers. Love OU. But realistic.

Yesterday was the first I've heard of him. He has 21-22 offers.
To my knowledge, mcgusty is the target and brunk but we can still take one more. Obviously they think they have a shot if throwing an offer out there.
We actually have 5 open scholarships after next year. Potentially 6 pending CJ Cole graduating and moving on. So we could take Pritchard, McGusty, Brunk, Fultz, and at least another player no problem.
Youre missing Kristian Doolittle.
Also I could see Bola getting a ship.
No chance Bola gets a ship. You can give him one his senior season if you have a free one available. Scholarships are too valuable to hand out to walk-ons. You're seeing that now with C.J. Cole.
CJ won't have a scholarship in 2016. He was fortunate to keep his for next year.
is this fact or projection?
There's a good chance he won't be here next year. Med school is the next step in life for him.

next year as in 15-16 or 16-17?
I would be surprised to see him at OU in 16-17 as if he is going to Med school he likely will have graduated in 4 years
Don't be so sure about Bola. He came in as a recruited walk on, meaning he was likely told he had a good chance to earn a scholarship. The key word is "earn" of course.
Having said that, I tend to agree that scholarships are too valuable to take a flyer on a kid who may never be good enough to play at a high level. While I was in support of giving a ship to C. J., I think our coaches have moved beyond bringing in recruits who are average players to recruiting a step or two above that level the past couple of years. I have no idea where Bola fits in that equation? He's one heck of an athlete who could develop into a player who can contribute at some point in his career.
I think if he had a chance to be a significant contributor down the line he would have gotten minutes on this team, where the bench was such a non-factor at times.
