in the postseason versus the regular season?

I say yes.

Discuss.

The old saying used to be that in the post-season the refs 'let them play'. In other words they swallowed their whistles.

I think it's been a little inconsistent in the post season, but I don't think they've completely gone back to the way they used to ignore fouls.

Didn't we have a game that nearly set the record for foul calls?

For the most part, playoff officials have been more consistent in following the guidelines defined in the new rules.

But yet, the officials allowed a bunch of physical play in the WSU-Kentucky game and it has been billed as the best in the tournament.

For the most part, they have called it by the book. Refs want to advance, just like the teams do.

Seems like it has been one of the lowest scoring tournaments I can remember. A ton of teams ending up in the 50's.
