needed to get jp in the lane desperately, or page from wherever. Either way this team played well above their heads in a game that would have been the perfect on to just mail the season in.

I'm not melting down.

We just played the #2 team in the country to the last possession when we (basically) had nothing to play for.

Seeing the effort was nice.

Hope we can make a deep run in the NIT and get set for another NCAA run next year.

Very excited about:

Markel Brown as a soph
Reger Dowell and Olukemi as juniors
Page as a senior
Nash as a freshman.

I can see why Ford is frustrated with his team, with the exception of Page and maybe Moses this year they are dumber than a box of rocks out there.

He should have gone with 5 guards and cleared out for whomever was matched up against a Morris twin.

Teams tend to look "dumb" when there is poor point guard play.

Poor point guard play can make even the most talented team mediocre.

Look at freaking Baylor this year. There is NO WAY that team should be sitting out of the NCAAs. I know we like to bash Scott Drew around here, but you would think that even he could get a team like this to the tournament if they had any kind of point guard play. But they don't, so they'll be NIT dancing, like OSU.

Dissapointed in the last play...

I likes the weave...just not hiding Page in the corner...he is their best option handling the ball with 10 seconds left and you know guys have to come out on him, plus he is smart enough to make the right play...

Instead they get a guy that tries to force his way thru a guy and loses the ball and has to make a hail mary...

I'm guessing it was poor execution though, i'm sure Ford wanted Page with the ball at the top of the key because i could see him coming up that way...

Teams tend to look dumb when they get T'd up twice for taunting in the same half. Or your best interior defender repeatedly picks up cheap fouls 40 feet from the basket or completely off the ball. Or your PG makes 2 clutch FT's to put you ahead by 1 with 18 seconds left then immediately fouls in the backcourt when all the other team is trying to do is get the ball to halfcourt and call a timeout.
