If we could have krugers recruiting and ability to keep players happy (not transferring) and sampson's coaching, that'd be a hell of a coach

Kruger can't get his guys to be accountable imo

Lon may be a little soft on players at times, I agree with that but its not like he can just put someone else in..OU is not loaded with talent

I do, he doesn't instill any confidence to the team on the road! A day when we could have tied KU for conference lead! It's a huge choke! The coach is who instills the mentality of a team and on the road we look like a scared team!

Why horrible?

Blew a 10 point lead. Melted down. UT is a borderline tournament team. Poor shooting team. Gotta win on the road at some point or you’re just another pretender.
That’s where I see this group.

On the road, you have to be tough (mentally/physically). At times, this team has it, but at crucial times lately.....they simply melt down.

This game wasn't lost because of Trae, but he was pretty bad the last 8 minutes (ran the team poorly and had poor shot selection....again). Yet he wasn't alone, we have guys that can't catch passes, can't hang onto a rebound, and want no part of the spotlight in crunch time. We are just a poor road team right now.

Bad loss... wish Lon blew a timeout earlier during that run as usual. Oh well on the road when the other team shoots something like 20 FTs in a row you gotta keep under control and make plays and we didn’t again today. Onto the next one.

Well said. The 2nd half was pathetic to say the least. We lost our patience and composure and you can't do that on the road. Lon needs to figure what will work best on the road. We won't win a game in the big 12 tourney shooting like that.
