failed to reach the Sweet 16 during the life of the conference. Colorado and Nebraska.

This move actually made the Big X a better basketball conference and more attractive to television execs. Trading all those games involving Colorado and Nebraska for an extra game against every South team for Kansas and Missouri and KState. Even ISU has been a better program, over the last 10 years, than Colorado and Nebraska.

There is a good chance that the conferences RPI will actually go up.

Not really too much of a downgrade in football if BYU, Utah, or Air Force signs on. The conference has a chance to get alot better if you add those three schools to go along with a Tcu, Memphis, and Houston.

The big 12 will not be adding any schools anytime in the near future. The TCU and Air Force report was a hoax by someone that hacked into a Twitter account.
