Wednesday’s game is Oklahoma’s 234th meeting with Oklahoma State.

* The Sooners have won 17 of the last 26 Bedlam meetings, including seven of the past nine contests. OU owns a 136-97 all-time advantage in the series and boasts an 84-27 lead when played in Norman.

• OU is 9-4 against the Cowboys during the Lon Kruger era.

• Oklahoma has won 15 of the last 17 Bedlam battles in Norman.

Who is the poster that keeps the bedlam stats updated in their signature?

basketball school?

Since they National Championship'ed themselves for 1943 and won that Poulan Weedeater Bowl last week I hear they are truly a football school now.

I missed that. Was it tweeted out, email, Telegram, smoke signals?

I think Ou wins tomorrow. But osu looked pretty good the two times I watched this year.

They've been better than anyone thought they would be so far. They don't look like an easy out for anybody right now.

good point. their bench may be lacking a bit but they have excellent effort and that makes up for a lot. they wont be an easy game.

They've definitely been better than expected, but it's worth noting that they've yet to play a true road game. All their games have been in Stillwater except for two in NYC (A&M, Pitt) and one in Sunshine, Florida (FSU). They also gave up 30 points to WSU's PG, Shamet.

I know you probably don't get to see too much of WSU out that way, but there's no shame in that. There's maybe 2 or 3 PG's in the nation that I'd even consider taking over LS; OU just happens to have one of them. WSU's strength over this run they've been on recently is their balance (i.e. they averaged 81 last year w/ only 2 double digit scorers & nobody averaged 12); you may beat them, but you won't out-depth them, & thusly, Landry hasn't been asked to be the show, ala' Trae although he's got the ability to be a 20+ PPG guy if he'd been called upon to do so. He's had to pick up the slack from McDuffie's absence early this year so his average is up a bit, but I'd expect them to fall into last year's pattern once MM gets the rust shaken off.

this that dude at WS is a stud

I didn't intend to demean Shamet, but what I didn't make clear was that I figured if Shamet could go for 30 against oswho, then Trae had a shot at having an even bigger night against them. He didn't (though he had a good outing), but that's what I was clumsily getting at.

All their losses have been to Top 10/15 teams, so it's still hard to gauge where they are. No shame in a solid team losing to top 10 teams.

They really got screwed by losing Dillard and Dawson. Dawson was the highest rated recruit, and Dillard was a likely starter or their best bench player.

They are really in a world of hurt next year... They will lose Carroll and Solomon next year and the recruiting class looks like a joke so far. They need to land some impact players in the late period.

According to the Tulsa World they are bringing in Curtis Jones, a former 4-star recruit who is transferring from Indiana. His stats in the season and a half he played there are quite underwhelming however.

I didn't see the OSU v WSU game but I don't think the WSU point guard had a. Enter game than Trae. Young more than doubled his assists and was one rebound short of a triple double. I will give 3 points for the assists and rebounds.

Good point.

On "The Franchise", a local OKC sports radio station, OSU alum Desmond Mason was complaining about the officiating, saying that the officials gave Trae favorable calls, and that the officials also disrespected the OSU coach Boynton. Hey Des, OSU lost by 20 points!:eddie187_jpg_xs:

I saw several fouls on Trae not called and a charge called on him that should have been a block. He is just better then virtually all other players.
