Nah, regardless you can't have 13 stars. You always gamble on the big instate kids. Keep the pipeline in state.

I agree. You have to grease the local HS coaches to a certain degree or risk offending them and losing the inside track. I think Kelvin did this a bit early in his time at OU and was a big reason we didn't land Sheldon Williams when all was said and done with his recruitment. You can't totally alienate your main base.
