What will the score be when the final buzzer goes off on Friday?

Mine:

Boomer Krugers: 74
Great Danes: 60

Yours?:

What I want to happen:
Albany 64
OU 63

What I think will happen:
OU 71
Albany 60

AGDF:

The Sooners have had games that they have been careless, not taken care of the glass, and settled for bad shots/missed shots. If that happens, then your Danes have a great chance if you guys play decent (which I think you will). I also will get nervous if it comes down to a close game as the Sooners have lost nearly all of the close ones.

Welcome to the board!

Thanks! If this is close I like our chances. This team knows how to pull out close games. They have done it all year, except for a few games early in the season.

63-55 good guys.

I hope we can stretch it out but I feel that they'll slow it down enough and make it ugly enough that we have to sort of slog through it.

If we can establish Thomas, and then kick out for some 3's, we could really open it up, however. They're terrible at defending the 3 point line and if we hit some open shots, it could be a long night for the Danes.

So everyone thinks these guys will score more than OSU. The committee thinks OSU is substantially better.

Uncomfortably close for a good period of the game. The difference in my mind is that OU will have a couple of key spurts that put the game away.

My mistake, so everyone thinks they will score more than Butler, Texas, Tech, George mason and OSU.

Denver -- they might. The final score depends on a lot of variables. Do we push the tempo? Do the refs call it tight, resulting in a lot of free throws? Do they get hot from three? Do we turn the ball over too much?

If we lock in on defense and execute on offense, and the refs don't put them on the line, sure, we can hold them under 50. The thing you have to remember with OSU is that we knew them VERY well and were able to shut down everything they wanted to do. We don't have that luxury with Albany.

In four appearances in the tourney Albany has only scored more than 60 points once. that was two years ago against Duke (#2 seed) they scored 61. Scored 55 last year vs Florida (#1 seed), 57 against Virginia (#4 seed) and 59 against UConn (#1 seed).

It is going to take some serious outside shooting to score more than 60. As I said in the other thread, Albany dooesn't do well against tough pressure defense and will turn the ball over with some sloppy passing on the perimeter.
