OU and UT both lose in OT

does the fact they went into OT in their respective games at least establish that they both belonged in the tournament?

I thought they both at least came to play hard and left a decent impression for themselves and the conference. But of course some will see no more than the bottom line.

I already had 1 guy tell me OU took his St. Mary's spot and added they won by 40 in their 1st NIT game..lol, so no.

For me, tourney results matter none in assessing who did or did not deserve a bid.

IMO, OU absolutely deserved to be in based on resume. The “when” does not matter to me. That said, I also think St Mary’s, USC, OSU, MTSU, and probably 75% of the NIT field would beat us tomorrow.
