OU at Iowa State

I hate not knowing what is going on. In 5 months I will be home and may get to see them live since I will be stationed in McAlister.

I'm going to Manhatten Saturday. Hopefully we don't poop the bed.
 
You can't help but be proud of this team. We clawed our way back and got the lead.
 
This going to piss some of you off, but the last 2 minutes after Kay-Kay fouled out was one of the dumbest moves Sherri has ever made. Last 2 minutes we didn't score a field goal. 5 guards and we know Ortiz can't guard Moody and won't get help on the drive.

Dumb, dumb, dumb-- and I know why she did it, and it's still dumb.

Feels like our game at Texas. Should've won this game, but wind up going to OT and unable to withstand foul trouble and lose.
Would've like to seen a bit more poise coming down the stretch … a rushed three on a inbounds, shots over two and three players on an inbounds - each with us ahead or the score tied late in regulation. We got in a hurry and didn't need to be.
Oh well, young team … we'll get 'em Saturday!!!
 
We couldn't guard Williamson and Moody. That and we got beat badly on the boards. Ball game.

It's s good Learning game.
 
Am I the only one that thought that Moody hooked Gabbi on that foul that essentially tied the score? I thought that was a clear foul on Moody with the hook and body.

How did Manning end up with the foul when the IS player backed into her and fell back into her? Some questionable calls at the end of regulation.

We missed three free throws at the end of regulation that we needed: Sharane, first end of a one and one, Maddie two. Could have used at least one of those three (four potential).

Gabbi will learn to play against a smart senior guard, and Moody is a pretty good senior. Gabbi didn't have her best game, but she had her hands full.

Rebounding totals were depressing. We just didn't play like we wanted it a part of the game.
 
One weakness this team has is, not being able to take contact and still score.
 
Three things that cost us this game. Free throws, rebounding, and not changing up our defenses. Nuff said.

I hope you are able to make some games next year. Think you will love it.
Next year should even be better.
