I have to disagree. The only player we have who could be considered an all conference player is Aaryn and she didn't produce today.
Agree Norm.
Remember the days when all 5 of our starters could be on the all conference team.
Our the days when 6 people could go for 20 on any giving night.

When Syb, can't find anything positive to say, then you know it's about as bad as it can be.
How really bad was it...just remind yourself of this. At about the 12 minute mark Sherri pulled every starter off the floor and played about the next 10 minutes with second string only. It may not have been quite that long.
That's how bad you know it is.
I think AE has been mailing it in for a couple of games now and if she got banged as hard as some are saying, then I wouldn't expect to see her in the next game or more.
But I am hypothesizing that Ellenberg may have developed a problem with Sherri and the staff given her demeanor on the court and on the bench.
Hook -- she just doesn't have it in her any longer and you could begin to see that about the time when she said "what else does she want me to do?" quote in the player.
Griffin and Sharane have been the best players this year, but I think the dejection and losing has made them inconsistent, particularly today.
Kornet has been great today and in one, maybe two other games, but she really has't been that much help.
LET'S JUST FACE IT.
The is the worst team Sherri has ever put together because the failed dramatically to live up to their experience, talent and potential.
The is also absolutey the worst coaching job Sherri and her entire staff done.
The insistence on a four guard line up and a 2-3 zone have killed us.
Additionally, Sherri hasn't recruited well enough and that's just a fact. Maybe the manning class, this one and the next, along with Little's transfer will pull it together and play beyond their talent, but that remains to be seen.
We desperately need a 3, 4 and 5 star and we don't have one on the floor right now.
Sherri has to make some dramatic changes. Start by staying at home this summer and not coaching an all-star team. Think about shaking up the staff and what you've been doing because there is no sign it's going to work any better next year.
You've started playing freshmen this year. Keep doing it next year. Cut the dead wood from this team -- Gibbs and perhaps Kellog and use some more ships to fill out the roster.

I think it is both talent and something else. However we are now 26 games into the year and I would think the coaches could/would have made some adjustments. We all know doing the same things over and over and expecting different results doesn't work.

You're right...the something else is coaching.
I really just don't understand how dating her son could be a problem but plenty of y'all seem to think that. It's not like they just started dating though.
I like what you've got to say Oliver.
The lack of a honest PF hurts this team really bad. A Joanna McFarland is what
this group is missing. She showed great toughness and consistent effort; you kinda knew what you were gonna to get from her during the 2nd half of last season. We miss that this year in a huge way.
Pierre-Louis is slated to come aboard next year, but if we don't have a quality 4, will we continue to see the "one-post and series of 5-7 to 5-10 guys" lineup that has gotten us worn out this season? I really hope that Kellogg (young) and Gibbs (extremely raw) aren't total busts, because they are the only players on the roster who resemble a power forward at all.

I asked this question after the WVU game and did not get an answer. Is Kellogg hurt or sick? She did not play again today.

I think the team to afraid to play defense, cause of all the fouls that are called this year. You touch someone's wrist and it's a foul......cause they are "worried about the safety of these players"??? But then Aaryn and Morgan hit "brick walls" today on screens, and that is no foul, cause those are legal.....There again...and they are worried about the safety of these players??? Then they need to look into those screens...
