OU BBALL is becoming fun to watch again!!!

On yesterday's Thanksgiving Day, I was thankful for Lon Kruger and the team for making something that was once a great joy in my life a semblance of what it once was again! I'm just glad to see a hustling team that has a plan on O and D. A group of guys that move the ball and seem to play together. As I watched that game, I couldn't help but smile and be thankful for Kruger and this team. I'm not expecting anything spectacular. I'm just glad that I care again. I never thought that it would get to the point where I DIDN'T care in the first place. Last year that was the case.

Thank you, gentleman, for your hard work and improvement. Keep it up!

Good post! I've had those same thoughts. It's nice to feel good about where you are as a fan again. There are no super stars on this team. But they're still fun to watch because they understand that basketball is a team sport, and that to be successful they have to play together. LK has done a remarkable job of getting these kids to buy into help defense, half-court traps and pressuring the ball. They actually "get it!"

Words can't describe how much better I feel about OU basketball right now.

LK has done a great job.

Players understand their roles, they understand the concepts both offensively an and defensively.

It's a joy to watch a team that is COACHED and you can tell they are COACHED, not a bunch of guys on their own agenda.

This has become a Billy Ball offense and a Sampson style defense. He is going to have smaller teams that can play good man to man and offense that really moves the ball to get good shots. Can can see a good State of Oklahoma class coming in 2013.

It is great to see OU with a team that is watchable ! I have to admit I didn't even watch them much last year for the first time ever. Welcome LK ! We are headed in the right direction finally.
