So, how did the methodical offense fit into the long scoring droughts? Was that planned or just a product of the offensive genius? :ez-laugh:

I don't really think it happened any more under Sampson than other coaches. OU went several minutes without scoring in a few games this year. People just couldn't handle it under Sampson because they were so used to Tubbs' teams scoring 2.5 points per minute. Sampson's teams averaged about 2/3rds of that.
