That was one rugged stretch of games. We should be really happy to be 3-2 and 2-1 on the road.

Four of the five were against ranked teams. I think the lack of respect OU was getting at the time had something to do with the underdog role.

It's interesting, but I don't think I would have handicapped any of those games differently.

What it really says to me is two things:

1 - OU is a better team than they were expected to be. And until we got into conference play and started beating some good teams, nobody was going to be putting money on it. We will have some consistency issue due to the lack of depth inside, but this is a group that can beat good teams if we play the way we know we can play.

2 - It's been an impressive effort by the good guys to start off with a very tough conference schedule and not get put into a big hole. It puts us in position to not just fight to be on the right side of the bubble, but to be fighting for a decent seed and maybe a chance to do some things in the dance.
