Disappointing that Grooms was the only guard down there to get the ball down court. Not a difficult strategy to take the one guard away.

Not Lon's best coached game, imo.

Waited to long to play Grooms. Played Cam and Cousins too many minutes together. Punished Pledger late in the game by not playing him, when he might have helped.....at least on the last play. Didn't call a timeout there late.

Why the hell did grooms sit the whole first half?

Why did we not call timeout once the ball was across half court?

Why were more shooters not on the floor?

i agree that LK did a terrible job in this game.

Pledger should have been punished for the way he was playing today.

Missing the front end of 3 one and ones hurts as well. That's basically 6 missed FTs

Three point shooting and turnovers is what lost us this game. We defended really well. We outshot KSU from the field. They hit two more threes, which knocked out our FT advantage, and turned the ball over less.

Probably because of disciplinary issues. Kruger wouldn't just sit him for no reason.

Good question. I wasn't watching LK, maybe he was signaling for a timeout but the players didn't see it? Or, maybe since KSU plays such lockdown defense he thought the best option was to not give them time to set the defense again?

Why were more shooters not on the floor?
Who do we have that is considered a shooter? Pledger is somewhat, but we saw his limitations tonight. Cover him with defense and he disappears. He's our only outside threat.
