Bieniemy didn't miss a shot of any kind. Didn't make a turnover. Freshmen are supposed to make mistakes.

I beg Kruger to move the starting line-up back
JB needs the minutes but have him and Odomes come in off the bench
Nah. KSU over WVU
Yes. Maybe they said by road team. Not sure

I hear you, tycat. But to me, those doofus fans up at GIA are what REALLY make a loss to the aggies unbearable.
Worse than texas? I wouldn't go that far, but it's pretty darn close.

I just don’t think OUr team is responding well to adversity in conference games, especially on the road. Much like last season to me, so far. Last year and this year we played strong on the road during non-conference and collapsed during the conference season. I’m just not sure this team will win a conference road game the rest of the year. I don’t think it’s because we’re not capable but don’t seem be mentally or emotionally able to handle adversity. I hope they prove me wrong!

Must be nice to be able to hit shots. Wonder what that feels like? Getting outplayed for sure right now. Hopefully, we treat the OSU start as just that. Play like a veteran team and come back slowly but surely.
Why?
Bieniemy is talented but I like his mentality. He's as cool as they come as a freshman.
Well, at least tonight, your hope was realized.
Beat Vandy!

On Wednesday night, Jamal Bieniemy wasn’t swayed by the rowdiness directed at the Sooners. The freshman — in just his second start — stayed calm and composed in a must-win situation for his team.

“He has been fantastic. Two consecutive games he has run the show,” OU coach Lon Kruger said. “Making big shots at critical times and contested layups at critical times. He made that big three to make it to five (66-61). Been great. Really good instincts defensively, too. Couldn’t be happier for him.
“We needed it from him, too. He stepped up and delivered.”
Lindy Waters, the Norman native, couldn’t miss in the game’s opening nine minutes. Encouraged by coach Mike Boynton to be more aggressive, he knocked down multiple difficult shots. He led the Cowboys with a career-high 20 points.
Nine minutes into the half, Waters brought the crowd to a fever pitch. He sized up OU guard Jamal Bieniemy at the top of the key, faking the start of his drive a couple times. He went to his right, crossed back over to his left and sank a 3-pointer — his fifth consecutive made shot to start the game — to push the lead to 28-9.
“We were very aggressive for the first 10-12 minutes,” Waters said.
That was the high point.
