OU Rivals Board

What would Josh P do for OU? He was involved in the whole mess that got them on probation in the first place, am I right? He WAS brought in towards the end of it but he was there for part of it?

The attendance won't drop more than this year. Most the people on here complaining don't even go to the games.

I know of at least one person dropping two tickets. That person had his tickets used every game this year. I'm not sure if he'll change his mind if there's a new coach or not.

I don't think he had anything to do with any of it, but honestly, when Jeff was hired, Josh P was on a short list I've guys I'd of liked to have seen OU go after given the amount of money we were willing to pay (or interest from other candidates).

Personally, I'd still like to see Jeff get one more year to try to right the ship and see what, if anything, comes from NCAA related to Gallon. Obviously it is not a popular opinion, but it is a pragmatic one. Right now there seems to be an "anything is better than Capel" mentality, but that may not in fact be the case.

We'll see, I'll still root for OU basketball no matter who the coach is when the season tips off in November. Hopefully, whether it is Capel or Coach [INSERT], we can put some of these divisive matters behind us and get behind the program; unfortunately, that is probably wishful thinking.
