Cheno, did the Tulsa AD really turn down the KU job? I don't blame him. C-USA is better than the Mountain West.

Word is I heard he wouldn't accept the terms of the contract and KU wasn't changing the contract.
I don't really understand the Mountain West jokes. That doesn't even make sense. Just reminds me how foolish some people now look after saying KU was going to the Mountain West and it was a done deal. :facepalm

The more I think about this game...man, I dunno. We just played one of the worst 5 teams in all of division 1 basketball and we had 2 guys in double figures and neither of them went for 20. Yikes.

I think KU has a better shot than Baylor, Missouri, OSU and Tech in landing in a major conference if this conference folds. They bring a lot for basketball. Just imagine if Texas, OU, A&M and KU go to the SEC. Assuming OU can turn around its basketball program, that conference would rival the ACC in basketball. Florida (due to recent success), KU and Kentucky match up very nicely with North Carolina, Duke and any other school from the ACC.
