You have to give some credit to Doolittle for taking the mask off. Reaves played well the entire game but things seemed to turn around when Doolittle ditched the mask.

I mean he literally lost the Texas game by picking up that cheap selfish flagrant 1.. but ya, he scored a lot today and won the game very much on his back (still 2-7 from 3 tho, needs to get that up). Total props today for sure. Better not let it get to his head tho hopefully

Steve, I am right there with you. I have been one to scream I just want Austin Reaves to be Austin Reaves and play within himself. Even though he shot the ball more and scored 41, I think he did that for the most part today.

You bringing up the FTs is a prime example. He saw he was able to beat his man and drive to the bucket today so he did. And the fouls he got wasn’t because he was leaning off balance on a jumper into a guy or throwing himself into someone on a layup with no intent to score.

He played awesome off course, but all in control.

oh he most certainly does play hard. you are 100% correct there. I'm glad to see his efforts finally paying off like that. good for him and the rest of those kids. this might be the energy boost they need going into post-season.

if shots drop AND they play defense like they've done in stretches the last few games then they can be a load.

I'd happily suck up to reaves and bow to that effort and result.
