OU @ TCU 5pm CST on ESPN2

I also am not sure he was throat slashing.

I thought he was doing a Vince Carter impression..."it's over, it's over". From the dunk contest, whatever year that was. Not really a throat slash but I can see how some would think that.

Just got home from the game. Had a pretty good contingent of OU fans there today. Quick thoughts:
  • Austin was other-worldly.
  • Doo missed a lot of in close shots, but his stroke looked great from 3.
  • Manek waited until the final moments, but arose from the dead.
  • Really good to see Williams get back in there and contribute.
  • We made our comeback with a certain guard (who shall remain nameless) on the bench.
  • Loved the response/fight, but moving forward, you can't start games like zombies.

It was the best Sooner basketball win that I've ever seen in person.

I think Harmon will be much improved and JB will play better (provided he's still here). They both have skills and physical tools. It's maturity they lack.

Bienemy showed promise at times as a freshman but he really regressed this year. He wasn't consistent last year either.

I agree. I initially thought it was a slash or two and went back and watched it again, and pulled up the Vince Carter dunk contest.

That’s exactly what he was doing

I didn’t think it was a throat slash at all.

I’m not sure anyone can say with any certainty that JB or Harmon will play better next season. That’s the hope but it’s far from certain.

In real time I thought it was the throat slash gesture, but like MJSooner said, it was exactly the Vince Carter move from the slam dunk contest which is pretty funny because that was before Austin Reaves's time lol.

That’s definitely what he was saying. I don’t think he meant it as an insult, but the officials may not have agreed if he had been caught.

If we had lost the game on a technical with .5 seconds left?....Talk about a kick in the gut!

How low does the gut go these days.

reaves would have needed to flop at the same time for the refs to notice the gesture.

honestly, i doubt it’s on their radar the way it is in college football.

We scored 32 points in the final 8 minutes. 26 points in the entire first half. Bipolar.

But we got the W

Re: throat slash

I see the Vince Carter reference. I'm referring more to what he did once he headed back toward the bench area. It looked like he gave the slash to the crowd behind press row. I wouldn't put it past the pinheads leading our conference to make a stink about it.

Unreal comeback. From 7th to 3rd in a blink of an eye.
