Re: throat slash

I see the Vince Carter reference. I'm referring more to what he did once he headed back toward the bench area. It looked like he gave the slash to the crowd behind press row. I wouldn't put it past the pinheads leading our conference to make a stink about it.

Unreal comeback. From 7th to 3rd in a blink of an eye.

He tried to do the same gesture but one of his teammates was too close to him so it looked like a one handed gesture.

Its sad that the dumbasses that run ncaa are making this a relevant conversation..

I mean he literally lost the Texas game by picking up that cheap selfish flagrant 1

That's simply not true. Texas scored just two points off that foul, giving them a one-point lead with 92 seconds to go.

Doo's two free missed free throws came with six seconds left and would have absolutely sealed the win, had he made them -- and a senior in a situation like that HAS to make at least one of them. He missed both.

That said, it's not really fair to blame Doo, either -- it was undeniably a team loss.

Geez. Even OU (Sooner app and soonersports) is using the AP article that says Reaves ran to the other end and held both hands to this throat indicating a choking motion. So now we have both a throat slash and choking symbol accusation. I wish he hadn’t run to the other end of the floor or made any gesture because this is what happens. People who are against you try to ruin your awesome day. But no way he was doing those things.

There’s no way that will cost reaves anything. People need to relax.

He clearly wasn’t doing any choking motion. He was saying “it’s over”.

I remember Sterling Shepard being flagged for the "superman" move after a score and was flagged for it. Obviously, the ref mistook the body language thinking it was something else.

I agree. His two three’s were huge. Just think those two shots were 6 more points than you ever scored in your college career. Lmao

Whether someone plays ball is wholly irrelevant (I guess that means if you are not a politician then you are not allowed to be critical or dismayed by one).

six more points than a leroy is what abe used to say.

Just saw a quote from Lon post-game. He said he had mixed feelings about this win, and that he isnt enjoying it as much as he could because he knows how it feels to be on the other side of a result like that.

My first thought: man that is so painfully soft. When I played sports I wanted to crush my opponents' soul. And as a fan I feel the same way: ecstatic about the comeback, no regard for TCU's feelings.

Lon seems like a great human being, but I'd rather have someone with a killer instinct at the helm. Am I reading too much into this?

Yep, I think you are reading too much into it.

Just because he isn't brash, honest and open like Billy doesn't mean he doesn't have a fire to win. And I loved Billy as much as anyone.

Lon is a great man who is all class. He is just demonstrating the utmost sportsmanship. The man is a fierce competitor from those that know him well, like Alex Brown and Steve Henson. Trust me, he was ecstatic that shot went in and for what it meant.

LK is universally regarded as one of the most competitive coaches on planet by his peers and anyone who knows him. So yes, you are reading way too much into the fact that he expressed empathy in a postgame quote.

If you have some thought about Lon not being competitive then be within a stroke of him heading into the back 9.

This team doesn’t deserve a bid. This is an abomination on the basketball world. Nobody wants to watch this ****, not even OU fans.

They are awful and the annual swan song is old. I’m tired of the same **** every year. This program is dying.

Hehe

Well, the good news is that we will only have to watch this sh!tshow two more times this season....once in KC and once in the NCAA/NIT. Far too often, this team does their best to take the joy out of watching basketball.

Ha
