**********OU-TCU Game Thread**********

pathetic performance.....the way pledger and mbaye just didnt show up at this point in the season with so much on the line......unbelievable. ISU is a must win.

Just a horrible loss. NOT Acceptable. Lon needs to motivate better.

Bench M'baye and Pledger and win and lose with guys that play hard every night.

They made a heckuva comeback! Playing ISU in KC is like playing them at home.
It will be very hard to beat those shucker folks up there.

I was just looking at ESPN's BPI ratings.
You don't even want to know how low TCU is.
To call this a bad loss does a disservice to bad losses.

Man, I really thought they were going to come back and win. It sucks to lose to such a horrible team. We've had some really great games and some bad ones too. Hopefully we can put it behind us and win some games on the conf tourney.

Now where is WT to pass judgment on my post. I need his validation.

not sure what to think at this point, we ain't a top level team where a bad loss could actually be helpful at this point in the season - just so disappointed in our guys for showing the way they did and jeopardizing all the hard work they put in this year.

On another note Buddy looks like he's ready to go.

The boys have bounced back pretty good from their low points pretty well all season. They will be fine against Iowa St.

How can this team beat ku and then take the Aggies to OT in a hostile environment then lay eggs in the non hostile arenas?
Some focus needs to return. Going soft at the end of the year sucks.

Meh. Bad loss, no doubt. But I'm proud of the guys who got us back in it. ( Osby, Fitz, Hornbeak, Buddy, Grooms). Just couldn't buy an outside shot. Seriously, I don't think we made one outside of 10 ft. Pledger and Mbaye I think got a message from Krueger-at this time of year you best show up for every game or we will go without you. Hope they receive it.

I agree. They have responded well to wake up calls since the middle of the season. We beat ISU once, we'll beat 'em again in the conference tourney.

They needed to come out with the energy they had in the 2nd half. But naw, hell naw, they probably thought they could coast to a win.

I know this is hollow, but that was a pretty good lesson for the guys returning next season. You never take anyone for granted.

I actually think we were closer to a 7-8 before this game than a 9/10. So I think this keeps us away from playing a 1 in round 2

Joe Lunardi disagrees. Heard him just an hour or so before our game, and he said he were a 10 that could play ourselves up to possibly an 8/9. At this point in the season, he probably has a pretty good idea.

The dude from CBS has/had us as a 10 as well.
