I was going to say something about that. Not just her scoring. Everything.

VV gets a vote too. Very nice game.
 
Maybe the girls should stay up to 3 a.m. talking things over more often.

Great win!! Makes next Monday's game a doozie but I'm still going took a day off from work. Sic'em!
 
Really makes everyone that talks about recruiting after every loss look pretty dumb when you dominate the top 3 or 4 recruited team in nation and beat them once a year. Im sure it'll come up after next loss so idk y I try to make that obvious and as well as applicable point- but maybe one of you will remember it and won't blame recruiting after, and therefore it would be worth saying something.

Also we ran an effective hi/lo- 4 or 5 times, got a lotta looks-- So enough with that conversation.
 
Texas isn't as bad as they looked in the fourth quarter, and we probably aren't quite that good. Did we miss anything?

Everyone did their part. Five players in double figures. Everyone made it difficult for Texas to get off a clean shot.

I was worried when Texas went up by six. Suddenly, they were behind by six. Peyton and Maddie hit threes as a part of that run of twelve straight points.

Vivi loves to play against Texas.

Stat filler: Maddie lead us with five assists, eight rebounds, and three blocks. She led both teams in assists and rebounds (Boyette had four blocks to Maddie's three). We outrebounded Texas and had 15 assists to their 7.

In the first game, we forced Texas into their high game of turnovers. In this game, Texas had only eleven, but we had only ten.

We can play with anyone not named Connecticut if we come to play.
 
Vivi scores 17 against THE ALMIGHTY Omani Boyette! She scored 8. Domination.

Texas shot bad. But they also aren't a great shooting team, if you get into them you can force that to some degree.. They aren't this bad, They could of easily done the same thing to us. But I absolutely believe that man to man they are no better than we are.

I think we can defintely score like we did in the 4th however. they were open shots, difference was they fell today- thats all.

It is amazing how much better a team can be when they come out with fire, play with energy, chase every loose ball, move when a ball is shot instead of watching, and come determined to play tough defense.
Everybody contributed.
 
One good thing about winning is that we don't have to listen to a couple of major Sherri haters.

Oh well there will be another time.

This is really a Dr. Jeckl and Mr. Hyde team.

Thought the officiating was pretty awful.

ViVi's emergence is really encouraging. She has scored 2 points for every 3 minutes she has played this year and a lot more lately. She also plays good defense without fouling at times. She got hosed on one call today. What can you do but stand perfectly still with your hands straight up.

This is my sarchasm day. But great job of lowering the boom on the Horns with their giants and hot recruiting classes.
 
Congrats..girls...Game well played !!!! Love to see them play this way...We know they can do it now, so we expect this at every game. By the way, the crowd sounded good on TV, too.......Who's up next?? Let's bring it !!!!!

This is the team most of us expected this year. We played similar to this against Tech a few weeks ago but Tech not near as good. We still didn't shoot well but played hard anyway. The key is if we can play this way the next game and the next game. But today was a great performance by this team!
 
This is how we played against BYU, except that we shot better (BYU isn't Texas on defense). If we play with this type of energy in Morgantown, we can make a statement.

This makes Baylor at OU interesting.

YES YES YES. I prefer to win them all, but when the team plays with todays effort, I will be happy with all results.
