OU v ISU

Thanks for the HELP! I sure would have liked to see the game but work has me locked up!
 
Did you love it when th girl started her drive and reached out and touched little and the foul called on little. Probably the worst call I have ever seen. This league needs to fire started me refs for incomptense.
 
I thought we got one officiating break. The play when Kay Kay was fouled while setting a screen for Peyton did occur before Peyton began her motion. Peyton should not have been given the three points.

But, they made up for it when they called a foul on Peyton with 9 seconds when Johnson jumped into Peyton's arm. I thought they were going to stop the jumping into defenders?

I like Johnson. I may end up liking Carlton and Burkhall. IS does get some good players to come to Ames.

Maddie got to play in Ames. If not, we lose.

Every road win is fortunate. Today I did not feel like we played our very best, but still got the win.

We were also fortunate when the foul under the basket, about 3-4 minutes from the end, was called on Peyton. I think it was the right call, but it is somewhat common for an official who is blocked out from seeing the foul in that situation to just call it on KK. The correct foul was called today.
 
I think everyone was mildly satisfied for once lol. Good win...
Offense is still a work in progress but it's gonna come. Good win at Hilton

Agreed. I think this is worst ISU team I've seen in years. Again we were not consistent. Good play for spurts and bad play for spurts.

1. OU is 15-5, ranked #20

2. OU is 6-3 in conference play, third in the conference behind two top ten teams, and one of four teams with a winning +/1 record in the conference.
 
Another solid win. Poor 1st half. But excellent 3rd qtr to take control.

Got a little tight there at the end missed fts poor play.
But still nice to see Peyton working out of the funk, etc..
Good road win. Any road win should not be overlooked.
 
I was here the whole time! Solid win. Something to build upon.

5 players in double figures is not too shabby an offense. Defense could have used some more intensity. Best games in a while by Maddie and Gabby.
 
I recorded the game but haven't watched it yet. Glad we hung on for the win!
 
Nice road win. The zone is causing some havok. Sherri is for the most part a man to man coach, but the kids really show some toughness in that trapping zone. The do a better job of shutting down the driving lanes. Proud of all the kids and their physical play in the second half. If we can continue to improve, who knows maybe we can run the table the second half.
 
it's always great to win at Ames. This team has a toughness about it that I haven't seen in a couple of years. I also like their 'never say die' attitude. Down 14 they dig in and keep playing, keep shooting.
