I think the only thing that this board can be mad about is that this game isn't happening later in the tournament. At some point in the tournament, you're going to play a team at Gonzaga's level and you're going to have to beat them. If we don't have the late season slide, this game would be happening in the sweet 16/elite 8/final 4.

Nobody would have bet for Illinois to lose.... or ORU to win, etc...

I don't see why OU's prospects are that big a deal here... If OU gets hot they can win. Elimination games are weird.... All the pressure is on Gonzaga.

I harbor no hope of winning. I do expect to go out there guns blazing because we have nothing to lose. I would very much like to avoid a repeat of the Louisville debacle from 2008. Completely out classed in every facet of the game.

We can do some things that will make Gonzaga take notice. But if we come out laissez-faire on defense they'll run through us like **** through a goose for sure.
