OU vs #21 Baylor 3pm CST on ESPN2

A 22% 3 point shooter makes back to back 3s...

lol the 22% 3 point shooter makes back 2 back 3's in the last 6 min

This doesn’t smell good. I like that we are mostly playing under control but we have a frustrating way of losing guys and making stupid mistakes.

Take Nolan out, put Oweh back in.

Idk if the offense would function with a non-shooter. Scott Drew will dare Oweh to beat him.

I do agree though, Oweh is the answer to the Jacob Grove/CJ Noland minutes, but his offensive game needs a little bit of refinement.

If there is one criticism of Porter is that the offense is not good enough when teams just switch 1-5. Need to incorporate more slips when screening and trying to find mismatches for Grant. With Baylor abandoning their blitz coverage in the first half, and now switching 1-5, put the ball in Grant's hands and get Baylor's weakest defender switched onto him and let him cook.

I feel this is a similar theme to the previous second halves. Part of it is coaching, but also that the players just need to make a play. Groves needs to make a play on a guard, and Grant has to make a play on a taller/slower defender.

There is more than one criticism of PM's offense. And it continues to cost us close games. Guys don't play "free" in his system. And when the offense bogs down, it is compounded by the fact we play at a snail's pace. This is one of the reasons we can't extend a lead or hell....we can barely break 60 most of the time. Baylor is a poor defensive team....by the Big 12 conference's standard, but yet we can't take advantage of it because we are so "programmed" within the system. It's beyond irritating.

We need his Defense. Get a fast break opportunity. That's where most of our points are coming from anyways.
