OU vs KU 8pm CST ESPN2

Sad to have missed it but will watch tomorrow when I return to the US. Now back to sleep, but couldn’t resist following the second half online.

Great game. Congrats to the team, and especially the seniors!

]Doo had a helluva game, Manek...JB ran the point[/B] great.

I still wish subbing pattern wouldnt put 3 subs with 2 starters out there...just me. Luvkiky ku really sucked a$$ tonight shooting.

Even better, they’ll all be back next year!

What a great win! :woot

And to think.....this is a terrible season 😉

If we beat ksu and end our disastrous play there as of late.. and texas loses.. is the tiebreaker overall record? And we get the 6 seed??

Great effort on both ends of the court tonight! It was a welcome relief to have a rare easy victory over Kansas. I didn't know that we hadn't beaten them by double-digits since 1990. I thought we did back in 2003 when we had like a 28 point lead in the second half, but guess Kansas made that final score look closer than it was.

Now, it's time to ruin KSU's Senior Day!

Good question...I'm sure one of our gurus will have the answer to that. I'd like to know as well.

The '90 team did it twice in less than two weeks. Herman "Skeeter" Henry!

Sure would like to see the 2019 team do the same.

Feels great. Looooove beating those arrogant Jayhawks. Ticket punched! Let’s stay hot and get a better seed!

Goes head to head (1-1)
Then record versus other teams in conference 1-10.

They have us at ISU. (I think, I did this the other day)

So we are 7 no matter what happens Saturday.

The '89-'90 team is still my favorite pre-NCAA tournament team of all time. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the only team in NCAA history to finish the pre-Tourney #1 who did not have a single active player get drafted or play in the NBA. Yeah, count me in as someone who would like to beat Kansas by double-digits twice in less than two weeks :)

Great win and fun game to watch.

Hopefully the team keeps that play up going into the tourneys.

My only frustration was watching the bottom line on ESPN at the end of the Auburn/Alabama game, seeing the OU/KU final score, and seeing D. Lawson and McCormick's stats below the score instead of Manek and Doolittle.

Ya i figured head to head but we split..

Thats a lame #3 imo but i get it because its about the conference performance.

Thanks for your post Hollis

This board can be a funny place. Just smoked the team who has owned the league, virtually clinched a tourney bid, ended the streak, got great games from several guys, and there was very little activity on the game thread. Four wins in five games since people were certain we'd win at most one game the rest of the season.

My observations... excellent job by our coaches and team taking advantage of Doo's mismatch. They couldn't guard him, and we kept going to it, especially in the second half. And for a guy who supposedly doesn't have handles, I'd say he is our best ball handler other than JB. Can start the break, face up and break defenders down from the top of the key, and understands how to draw contact. Lightfoot is a good post defender but he had no chance tonight.

I'll be the first to say that I was wrong about KU. I figured they would have found another level by this point but they clearly haven't. They still can't put anything together away from home. Lawson is great, but he just doesn't have any consistent help other than Dotson, and he had a bad game tonight.

One win away from 20, and barring something bizarre, six tourney appearances in seven years. What a disgrace!

I've been saying for a few years that I didn't want KU's streak to end unless we did it.

This isn't what I meant, but I'll take it!

What if I told you I was at the game and not in my phone during it
