OU vs texas 1:00pm CST on ESPN+

NIT bound. We just can’t win close games against good teams. Another game where we led late and can’t close it out. Not blocking out, running awful offense, getting beat to loose balls, and inexplicably not having the ball in Grant’s hands for long stretches of the second half.

the 2 cheap fouls on Tanner really hurt ... he is +9

they killed OU in the min he was out

The offensive rebounds killed us the most, IMO.

100% agree. That’s all we will ever be under Porter. He’s in way over his head.

i mean Texas is #6 and is a legit threat to win the national title ..

i wouldn't give up the season so quickly

I agree with this. I'm actually encouraged because I feel like we really had a chance to win this game.

Welcome to the Porter Moser era. Surely we'll win a close game at some point, right?

This is who we are right now. We can play you tough but we can’t make the plays when needed to beat you. This loss stings. You wonder where we are going to get a road win to make up for it and you wonder how many other home losses like this we will see.

texas not getting to 7 fouls is all you need to know about the second half refs

We didn’t play that badly other than the turnovers and scoring droughts. We just don’t really have the talent.

Texas got all the big rebounds late on offense that was the difference.

Freaking Rice was clutch hitting FTs down the stretch. Wish we coulda got the ball out of his hands.

We ran with Uzan at point until the last 3 minutes. When Sherfield took over point, we were up 4 points. Hard to shift like that 37 minutes into the game. Why not just keep our normal approach and run some plays for Sherfield ?
