UT-Arlington is not very good...so far they are 0-4 with the loss by an average of 18. Included is a 74-35 loss at OSU. Should be a game where we play everyone.

By the way so far Gibbs has yet to play in a regular season game. I found a document from Boston College that stated you could play in preseason exhibitions in basketball during your initial year of eligibility without it counting as using a year of eligibility. So my guess is if Felicia does not play tonight we are intending to redshirt her this year.

Yeah, I've wondered if that wasn't a condition of her scholarship offer although I haven't heard that. She appears to be a tremendous athlete but not as smooth with basketball skills. Maybe Sherri saw potential and said a scholarship would be offered if she agreed to redshirt her first year. We've heard from the coaches that they would have preferred to redshirt players before but the players were not interested. I'm like you, if she doesn't play tonight, she's probably redshirting which would be advantageous for all, I think.

I'm interested in whether they will redshirt her. It seems like they have been setting it up. I really wouldn't mind having her available if we don't get rebounding from someone.

I'm rather glad that it isn't being televised tonight. I was cleared of further eye injections following a cataract surgery, but my eyes are so dilated that I couldn't see the game anyhow.

I think UTA is probably better than our exhibition opponents, but not by a lot. We shouldn't even risk injury to a starter tonight.
