I bet Buddy is on his way to the gym via toboggan about to get like 2000 shots up.

Did you guys get a lot of ice? Our news in Austin covered Dallas and simply said Oklahoma had a winter storm.

Unreal. Possible POY needs to work on dribbling! 1st team ALL Conf.

So if you're All Conference you don't need to improve weaknesses in your game? While the jab at Buddy may seem unfair, it's not false,

Of course he can improve, but ball handling isnt improving from significantly from monday to Saturday. He can get shoots up to tweak out any hitches...

Taking pot shots just bothers me.

From a coaching viewpoint, how do you improve your dribbling and ball handling? Isn't that something you work on at the gym? Or do you need partners and gauntlets to make noticeable improvement?

I seem to remember Dwyane Wade said he made substantial improvement in his crossover and off hand dribbling from his freshman to sophomore year of college. Dwyane's improvement turned him from a second round pick to the lottery. I'd think this is something Buddy would be working on but, as you say, it might take months.

For sure it takes gym time! you dont even need a gym, go outside and dribble... Im just saying it is an offseason thing to see drastic improvements.

We all know buddy can shoot it...

Wade and Buddy are way different animals...

Unless it's aimed at high school kids of course

Hey coach I completely agreed with your point that it's an offseason thing. I am wanting to pick your brain though on how he can be NBA ready and leaving to go that route with him still missing a key cog of any NBA guard and that is to dribble effectively. I don't see buddy leaving for ANYTHING less then a consensus 1st round grade but with his inability to effectively create his own shot by dribbling...or being able to knock your socks off with his shooting percentage that's not going to happen yet everyone says he's leaving. It's just not adding up to me. Do you see him leaving even if he is a second rounder? I don't see Buddy being that eager to leave college. I honestly think he loves winning and playing college ball. Do I think that's his highest goal? No. I think he definitely wants to succeed in the NBA...but not when he's not ready. I'm just not putting the pieces together on how he's NBA ready when every scout and analyst out there isn't mentioning him in their first round?
