Foust never really played enough to really judge. I think you can put him in the class of Ray Willis, and a few others that never really played enough to progress or regress.
I don't think Pilgrim was that good last year. He had a couple of nice games, especially in the upset of KU, but nothing consistent. Which is about what he is this year, flashes of brilliance mixed in with his silly fouls and poor decisions.
Here's one from a ways back. Jason Detrick. He put up solid numbers as a backup off the bench as a JR. Redshirted a year so he could start and be the main guy and just never really was. I think he probably put up better numbers as a Sr, but that's only because he played more. He wasn't as good his senior year.
Tends to happen when you play most of the year with a torn abdominal muscle. The guy had to have a running start to get a 12 inch vertical at times that year.

True. Plus Detrick was the victim of playing on a good team his junior year and then a bad one his senior year. That team his senior year was similar to this one. One senior and a bunch of underclassemen.
Detrick also had a 35-pt game at Colorado that year. He's one of my favorite players during the Kelvin era. His name was just one of the many juco's that I remembered coming in looking incredible early in their junior year and then not having a very successul senior year.
