Here come the Will Wade, Coach K and Billy Donovan takes.Genuinely who do you think would be better than Porter that OU could realistically get?
All but one of the losses this year were to Top-25 teams. And there were multiple Top-25 wins. With the roster we have - thanks to the lack of NIL - I'm not sure what people want. Miracle workers, I guess.
Lol oh yeah? Why? You cannot possibly be arguing that nebbish > OU, are you?Of course he would. Just not for Norman.
Jeez. Stop comparing softball to basketball. Makes you look really silly.
Bryan Hodgson. Not saying he's better than Porter, but think he's realistic.Genuinely who do you think would be better than Porter that OU could realistically get?
With a better draw, this team could have been a Sweet 16 team.how much more nil do you think pm needs to put together a sweet 16 roster?
ExactlyWith a better draw, this team could have been a Sweet 16 team.
That said, to compete in the top half of the SEC, we're at least a year behind. Between $2 and $3 million this year while our competition was over $4.5 million. That's a star player. Next year, we're rumored to be up to $4.5 million while our opponents are in the $7-8 million range. That's two star players. See where I'm going here?
Dude has two years of head coaching under his belt. If this is the answer, then...Bryan Hodgson. Not saying he's better than Porter, but think he's realistic.
Pretty risky. IdkBryan Hodgson. Not saying he's better than Porter, but think he's realistic.
Nope, we should listen to JV coaches who occasionally get "insider" info and who will never criticize a fellow coach, and whose most frequent posts consist primarily of "lol.:Jay wright. What a complete idiot. Should listen to ws, trash and the experts.
With a better draw, this team could have been a Sweet 16 team.

Kansas St paid $2 mill for Coleman Hawkins and finished 16-17….With a better draw, this team could have been a Sweet 16 team.

No, you're missing the point. In any other conference, the $2.5 million might have been good enough this year. But we're not competing in any other conference. In the SEC, it doesn't cut it. And we were behind in the Big 12, too. In any other conference, this team is probably a 6-seed. Last year, in any other conference, the team gets into the tournament easily.so you just made my point.
you're saying moser has the talent to make the sweet 16......with the current nil. but then out of the other side of your mouth....you say he needs more nil.
maybe if he were a better coach...and had won a couple more games...he would have gotten that better draw
and he went to ames high school and lived in iowaOhh... sorry. He was BORN in Lincoln. My bad
Daq, it's impossible. We cannot possibly win games with only a late lottery pick on the roster.so you just made my point.

I'm old enough to remember when Kansas State's coach was the guy we should have hired instead of Moser.Kansas St paid $2 mill for Coleman Hawkins and finished 16-17….
